Depart the US for Italy.  Arrive and ½ day Panorama Rome City Tour

Depart today from your home city and travel to Rome, Italy.  Upon arrival we will board our bus for a city tour seeing the many highlights before arriving to your hotel to rest from your travels.  Tonight we'll enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel and have a chance to meet the other tour members.

LDS Church services and LDS Temple site visit

This morning we’ll have the opportunity to attend a local sacrament meeting before we journey to the LDS Temple site in eastern Rome.  With the ground breaking for this temple back in 2010, it’s not expected to be open until 2019.   This afternoon will be yours to enjoy the city at your leisure.

Day 4 - Monday, Oct 29, 2018

Vatican and Colosseum visit

Today we get to spend the morning at the Vatican - home of the Pope, St Peters Basilica and the Sistine Chapel as well as one of the best museums anywhere.  Next, we will visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World - the breath taking Colosseum where we will have a guided tour around the most visited site in Rome.  We will continue to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.

Board Celebrity Constellation

This morning we'll enjoy a relaxing morning before we say farewell to Rome and head to the Civitavecchia Port to board our home for the next 12 nights on the Celebrity Constellation.  Once onboard take time to relax and explore the ship and all it has to offer.  Tonight we will meet as a group for dinner.

Day 7- Thursday, Nov 1, 2018

Chania, Crete, Greece

Chaniá is the second largest city of Crete, and one of the most beautiful. It lies along the north coast of the island at the east end of the Gulf of Chaniá. It’s the site of the ancient Minoan settlement the Greeks called Cydonia (Kydonia), which was mentioned in Virgil's Aeneid. The site has been continuously inhabited from Neolithic times-at least 5000 years. The city's rich history can be traced through historic buildings and monuments with Venetian, Turkish and Greek architecture. 

PRIVATE SHORE EXCURSION OPTION: Our tour begins at the Port of Souda where you join the coach en route to the British Commonwealth War Cemetery, which is the last resting place of 1,527 of the known 2,000 British Commonwealth war dead. The majority of them lost their lives in the Battle of Crete between the Allied and German forces for control of Crete between the dates of May 20 - 31, 1941.  A stop for photos will be made. Your tour continues to Agia. Triada Monastery (Holy Trinity) of Jagarolon, which is one of the most significant monastic complexes from the end of the Venetian Occupation of Crete. Discover in the east suburbs of Chania on the hill of Profiti Elia (Prophet Elijah) Venizelos Tombs where are buried one of the most significant politicians of modern Greece, Eleftherios and his son Sofoklis Venizelos. Continue your tour to the Chania town, where neoclassical mansions and massive Venetian fortifications testify to the city's turbulent and diverse past. There you will have the chance to explore independently the town, before you return back to the port.

Day 9, Saturday, Nov 3, 2018

Haifa, Israel 

This spectacular city rises dramatically from the Mediterranean on terraced hillsides, which culminate with Mount Carmel. From that viewpoint all the world seems to lie at your feet. On a clear day you can see north all the way to the Lebanese border, as well as the snowcapped Mount Hermon to the east.


Day 1: Today we start our exploration of Israel. After leaving the ship we will visit the Bahai Gardens in Haifa for a beautiful overview of the port and the countryside. We will travel east to the Galilee region and see where Christ started in ministry, called his apostles and performed many miracles. From the Mount of Beatitudes to shores of the Sea of Galilee and banks for the River Jordan, you will start to see the Bible come alive before your eyes.  

Tonight we will return to the ship for dinner and a review of the next 2 days.

Ashdod, Jerusalem Israel 

Sacred to three of the world's major religions, Jerusalem is one of the world's oldest cities, with a history dating back to 4000 BC. Gaze at the Western Wall, which is all that's left of the fabled Second Temple, or watch the sunlight bounce off the golden-roofed Dome of the Rock or the shimmering silver al-Aqsa Mosque.


DAY 2: Today we travel to Jerusalem! In the next 2 days we will visit the sites of Christ's birth, many miracles and his ultimate suffering in Gethsemane followed by his death and resurrection. 

There is so much to see; we'll stay in a hotel in the city tonight to maximize and enhance our visit. Tonight after dinner we will make a special trip to the olivewood stores for shopping for that special souvenir. Lunch, dinner and hotel included in tour cost

Mykonos is known for its whitewashed villages sprinkled with blue and jade green. It’s also famous for its sophisticated nightlife. The most popular island in the Cyclades is bustling with activity, awash in beautiful alleyways, and home to alluring sandy beaches.

Athens, Greece

Athens brought the world drama, history, poetry, and philosophy. Once home to the world's most powerful and civilized empires, Athens is now the world's foremost archaeological playground. The towering columns of the Parthenon still stand in homage to the virgin goddess Athena

PRIVATE SHORE EXCURSION OPTION: Today is all about Paul and Acts 17.  Our private guide will give us a wonderful tour of the city including the Syntagma Square and the Olympic stadium but it will be when we head to the Acropolis to see the Parthenon and Mars Hill that your heart will start to race.  We’ll hear of Paul's sermon about the unknown Gods and climb to the top of the Parthenon and walk around the monumental ruins of the UNESCO listed site.

Framed by Mount Vesuvius along a dramatic skyline, the 2,800 year-old port city of Naples is chock full of historical sites, churches, and museums that make it an incredible place for you to explore. And in the region where pizza was first invented, you know the food is going to be incredible. Just 35 miles down the coast, Salerno offers you a rich history but also boasts a marvelous collection of parks, natural wonders, and unique vantage points to take in the beauty of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Two cities. One incredible stretch of Italian coastline.

PRIVATE SHORE EXCURSION OPTION: Today our private group will be met at the port by our host to start our touring at the amazing town of Pompeii and discover this city hidden for hundreds of years under the ash of Mt Vesuvius. This city tells many stories of the ancient Romans and their lifestyle and will surely be a tour highlight for all. After a lunch stop we will travel back to the coast and discover why the Amalfi Coast captures many with is pastel colored towns and thriving fishing port framed by the turquoise waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea.
