Pre Cruise Tour Day 1: August 8, 2019

For those joining the optional pre-Cruise Tour to Amsterdam, today we will travel from the U.S. and fly all night to arrive into Amsterdam the next morning.

Pre Cruise Tour Day 2: August 9, 2019

Welcome to the Netherlands! Upon arrival, we will enjoy a half-day tour including a canal tour through this historic city.

Pre Cruise Tour Day 3: August 10, 2019

Today we will visit the hiding place at Anne Frank’s House where you see the families living quarters. This is where she wrote her famous diary before being captured by the Nazi’s during WWII. Next, we will visit the Rijksmuseum to see the many famous works by Rembrandt including the Dutch Masters and Night watch.

For those doing the cruise only, today you will fly to Amsterdam and join the rest of the tour the next day to sail on the Brilliance of the Seas.

Day 1 and 2: August 10-11, 2019

Depart today from your US home city and travel to the famous city of Amsterdam.  Upon arrival you'll collect your luggage and head to the cruise port.

The picturesque Dutch capital of Amsterdam combines the enchanting ambiance of a 17th-century city with the style and character of a modern metropolis. It is a treasure chest of superb architecture and world-class art.

This afternoon we will board Royal Caribbean Brilliance of the Seas for our Scandinavian and Baltic Cruise. We will have a little get-together in the evening to get acquainted with each other in our group.

Day 3: August 12, 2019

Today you will have a meeting with Eric Dowdle to discuss the splendor of the art is this region. Enjoy your day at sea with the many amenities aboard the Brilliance.

Day 4: August 13, 2019

Welcome to Copenhagen! Scandinavia's largest city is a treasure trove of art, history, architecture and modern design. You will enjoy its fairy-tale settings like palaces, castles and elegant gardens. You may wish to spend the day touring this capital city that may include the iconic Little Mermaid statue in the harbor and the Copenhagen Cathedral which houses the original Thorvaldsen Christus.

Day 5: August 14, 2019

Today is another day to rest from your activities and relax on your day at sea. This afternoon we will again get together and talk about the history of this area.

Day 6: August 15, 2019

The capital of Estonia impresses cruise guests with its mixture of old houses and very modern boutiques. Journey inside the ancient stoned walls of Old Town to explore stunning Medieval landmarks like Toompea Castle or experience Tsar Peter I's Kadriorg Palace, filled with art and surrounded by sculpted gardens and peaceful woodlands. You are free to explore Tallinn on your own. Shore excursion choices will be offered.

Day 7: August 16, 2019

Elaborate palaces, grand churches, amazing estates, and gilded facades, St. Petersburg is rich in architectural masterpieces and artistic treasures. Enjoy the culture and grandeur of this historic city built by the tsars.

Day 8: August 17, 2019

Today is an extra day to enjoy this fabulous city.

Day 9: August 18, 2019

Welcome to Scandinavia's “White City of the North,” Helsinki is a city which keeps its historical roots intact. Discover the national pride of the Finnish people along with the Swedish and Russian legacy in this beautiful capital. Helsinki is filled with graceful architecture and monuments and surrounded on three sides by sea and tiny islands.

Day 10: August 19, 2019

Laced by an ingenious network of waterways and bridges strung between a freshwater lake and the sea, Stockholm has gabled old townhouses that peer over cobblestone streets, while its magnificent 17th-century palace sits watching over the harbor. Other highlights of the city include the Royal Palace and the Vasa Museum.

Day 11: August 20, 2019

Today is another day to rest from your activities and relax on your day at sea. This afternoon we will again get together and talk about the history of this area.

Day 12: August 21, 2019

This town on the Northern coast began in the middle ages as a fishing village. In the 19th century it became popular for a group of impressionist artists known as the Skagen Painters. Landmarks include churches, museums and lighthouses.

Day 13: August 22, 2019

Today is another day to rest from your activities and relax on your day at sea. This afternoon we will again get together and talk about the history of this area.

Day 14: August 23, 2019

This morning you will return back into Amsterdam and make your way back to the airport for your journey home.
